ModRN Health is part of a large team building a rapid response capability to support COVID-19 host spots for the US and its territories. The interdisciplinary clinical team will be virtually supporting hospitals, clinics, and home patients. Team members will use video conferencing and advancing tools and processes to provide expertise and relief for front line clinical workers.

We are looking for solutions- focused thinking Pharmacist that can thrive in an innovative environment. The Virtual Pharmacist position is a licensed pharmacist, who as an advanced clinician, functions at a proficient level to provide extraordinary care for patients and support to clinical team members. This position provides patient care through advice and consultation with other clinical team members as well as patients and is considered an expert in their specialty. The Virtual Pharmacist is someone with exceptional communication skills that has worked alongside a variety of clinicians. This person must be able to have the ability to adapt to a variety of circumstances.  

Job Duties: 

  • Complete virtual rounds on patients with a multidisciplinary team; interpret most recent patient data and health record. 
  • Assists in mentoring and coaching other clinicians in areas of clinical and professional practice  
  • Respond to requests from “on the ground” care team  

•     Manages pharmaceutical care and protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.  

•     Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems.  

•     Provides drug information and education to medical professionals and on the ground care team.  

•    Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts. 

 

Job Requirements: 

•     A PGY2 in Critical Care or equivalent experience is required.  

•     Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy 

•     Current state license in good standing with the State License Board

  • BLS 
  • ACLS 
  • NRP certification  

Preferred:  

  • Teaching hospital experience
