Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be a part of the TruDataRx clinical team, a multinational group of physicians, pharmacists, and scientists. This team collaborates closely to complete comparative effectiveness analyses according to the TruDataRx Clinical Process. This role offers the opportunity to leverage clinical expertise to drive patient-centered formulary decisions, partner with prescribers, and support clients in delivering transparent, evidence-based pharmacy benefit strategies. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Evaluate comparative effectiveness reviews to identify formulary management opportunities
  • Present clinical data and formulary recommendations in client meetings 
  • Generate formulary change order forms using GPI coding
  • Analyze pharmacy claims data to highlight cost savings and utilization opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize and design comparative effectiveness questions, incorporating client needs, claims trends, and new-to-market therapies
  • Address patient medication concerns with compassion and accountability, escalating and resolving as needed with prescribers
  • Develop and refine Prior Authorization (PA) criteria using comparative effectiveness data
  • Support PA adjudication and serve as a clinical subject matter expert for the client team
  • Act as a drug information resource for internal and external partners

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • PharmD with active, unrestricted pharmacist license (any state)
  • Strong clinical acumen with ability to critically evaluate data and apply it to patient care and formulary strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • The ability to effectively operate both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in client-facing settings or motivation to develop strong client engagement skills
  • Passion for learning, process improvement, and contributing to a mission-driven team
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience:

  • Clinical hospital pharmacy experience (ICU, ER, CCU, cardiology, diabetes, or related specialties)
  • PBM/Prior Authorization experience (strongly preferred)
