Bilingual Clinical Pharmacist – Virtual Care
About the Position
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Bilingual Clinical Pharmacist to join its patient-focused virtual care team. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys direct patient education, medication management, and collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to improve medication outcomes.
The role provides the flexibility of primarily virtual work, with required in-person training. You’ll work directly with patients and healthcare providers to identify medication-related concerns, improve adherence, and support individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medication histories and evaluate the appropriateness of prescribed therapies.
- Communicate directly with patients and physicians regarding medication use and adherence.
- Identify barriers that may prevent patients from following their treatment plans and help develop practical solutions.
- Educate patients on the appropriate and safe use of their medications.
- Collaborate with physicians when medication therapies require review or alternative treatment considerations.
- Support clinical teams with medication-related expertise and disease-management initiatives.
- Provide compassionate, culturally responsive service to English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the applicable state(s).
- Fluent English and Spanish communication skills required.
- Strong patient counseling, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
- PharmD and direct patient education experience preferred.
